Emily Cogsdill is currently a software engineer – though will start in a new role as Engineering Manager – at a nonprofit that develops cloud data infrastructure on behalf of other nonprofit organizations. Her team is small (we are hiring!) and fully remote, which makes it easy for her to split her time living and working from her parents’ house in Windcliff, working and working out at Vert, and running around Lake Estes.
Emily is passionate about being active outdoors, particularly anything that involves getting as high in elevation as possible. She is eagerly looking forward to a summer of hiking up all kinds of Colorado peaks once enough snow melts, which people promise will happen eventually.
Emily says: I stumbled upon Vert while looking for a gym when I moved here in March. When I saw there was a co-working space, I became a member on the spot and haven’t looked back! It has been so magical to meet people in the Estes Park community through this open and welcoming environment. I have everything I need to be productive, and make a ritual of taking a break in the afternoon to work out. The best part of every day is using the sauna before I head home in the evening!
